July 4th

Holly Friesen on July 5, 2012

The last few weeks have been filled with lots of meetings, phone calls, e-mails, and a myriad of other details as I prepare for the 2 purity retreats in August.

But…I still took time for a 4th of July picnic with American (and a few other nationalities) friends. There were no fireworks but we grilled, enjoyed some great fellowship and joined our voices to sing the “Star Spangled Banner”. The picnic was in a WWII memorial park where a battle between Nazi and Russian troops was fought. It was a good reminder that freedom often comes at a great price. I am thankful to be a citizen of the U.S.A. and am grateful to those who have sacrificed to defend the freedoms that we enjoy. I am also thankful for the freedom that citizenship gives me to travel and be a part of God’s work in Ukraine.Suko kidsSuko kidsMishael SukoMishael SukoKatie PhillipsKatie Phillips
